What does the US Constitution mean to me?
What the Constitution means to me is my life. It limits me and what I can do and that is a big part of my life, but it also limits the government which is also a big impact on my life. The constitution gives me my rights and restrictions. That is very important because if that didn’t exist then we would have people getting fined, arrested, and sued all of the time, even more than we have today.
If we didn’t have the constitution we would become just like Britain, having one person control us all and none of us want that. Or the complete opposite could happen everyone would be doing something wrong and get finned, or arrested, or even sued every day. If we didn’t have our constitution then your entire family would be broke, in jail, or being sued.
The constitution limits everybody’s day-to-day life. It also limits the government. This is important to me because then my family would be so dysfunctional because everyone would be getting into trouble with the government. This would cause so many problems with everyone not just my family, or the government but everyone that lives in the United States of America.
That is what the constitution means to me.
